KOLA Akingbade, the son of the late reknown Ekiti businessman and philanthropist, Clement Ladipo Akingbade, has declared his intention to run for Nigeria’s president in 2019.

The United States of America-based salesman and estate guru announced his presidential ambition at his father’s mansion in Igbara Odo, Ekiti State over the weekend.

While speaking to thousands of supporters and people of Igbara Odo, Kola Akingbade said he was inspired to join the presidential race based on his conviction that he would bring about desired change to Nigeria as a whole.

According to him, those in leadership positions in the country now don’t seem to have deeper understanding of how to govern a country like Nigeria that is richly blessed with both human and material resources.

“I’m declaring my presidential ambition today to bring about positive change to Nigeria. Those in leadership position in Nigeria now don’t seem to have deeper understanding of how to govern a country like Nigeria that is richly blessed with both human and material resources. I’m motivated by the fact that I have over the years researched and came up with solutions to some of the myriad problems facing Nigeria as a Nation. Today, I understand what our problems are in this country and I have the solution to every problem Nigeria has.”

I will bring an end to Nigeria’s insecurity and youth restiveness. As an ‘Economic President’; I will bring Nigeria out of it current economic travail. I will introduce taxation mainly for the elite who are living large and have mortgaged Nigeria’s resources. In one year, I will introduce economic policies that will provide employment for every Nigerian.
