A chieftain of all Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra state, Hon Eze Larrson Uchena, has expressed optimism that the party will record a landslide victory in the forthcoming general elections in 2019 in the state.
Uche, who is aspiring to represent Orumba North and South at the National Assembly in Abuja said President Muhammadu Buhari’s unprecedented strides in infrastructural development and fight against corruption, among others, are pointers to the fact that he meant well for Nigeria.
“The passage of ‘Not Too Young To Run’ bill, signed by President Buhari is another laudable stride that would help in shaping Nigeria’s future, and encourage the younger generations to be involved in political activities in the country is a development that emboldened some of us to join politics.
The oil magnate, who is also the CEO of Dalex Oil and Gas Limited, Makzino Oil and Gas Limited, maintained further that, Buhari’s achievements have also raised the consciousness of Nigerians to politics and the need to support an upright person.
“APC is a party where ambitions can best be easily realized because of the ingenuity of the party leaders and their determination to take Nigeria to a greater heights.”
“I am a proud member of APC in Anambra State and I will continue to work for the progress of the party as well as the progress of my people and the state.”
Discussing his plans for the people, Uchena promised to uplift the downtrodden and change the status of his constituency through responsible and robust representation at the National Assembly.
“As a young man I have the energy and experience to represent my people at the National Assembly. My people’s voice must be heard loud and clear at the National Assembly. They need to enjoy more dividends of democracy from the Federal Government, which I will facilitate if elected.”
