The death of one of the prominent figure in the theatre practice in Nigeria, Chief Jimoh Aliu, popularly called Aworo, is still shocking news to many, especially his fans and family who saw the demise as a mystery.
Chief Aliu died on Thursday in Ado Ekiti at the age of 86
A family source told Reporters At Large that Baba Aworo as fondly called by his fans had premonitions of his death a few months before his eventual demise.
He was at a location recently and in the role he played, he dropped his staff of office (opa ase) and it disappeared.
Again a few weeks ago he created a WhatsApp group where he added all members of his family for easy and effective communication. Apart from that, he checked on all close contacts by calling them, asking about their welfare.
On the day of his demise, the source hinted that the late thespian went for body scan at the University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti and a few minutes after the MRI scan, he could not regain his consciousness again until he gave up the ghost.
He was buried in his hometown Okemesi on Friday.
