The Olu of Ora Kingdoms, HRH Peter Oriyomi Ogungbesan, has joined the list of world leaders to congratulate the president-elect of United State of America, Joe Biden in the recently concluded election.
Ogungbesan, in a press release made available to newsmen in Lagos on Wednesday, congratulates Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the historic victory of democracy in America.
According to the Royal Father, “the victory of Biden and Harris in the recently concluded presidential race is a victory of the combined voices of the people in need of change.”
“Those promises as regards Biden’s campaign for the promotion of unity and peace for every person in America irrespective of class, race and gender must be fulfilled with a matter of urgency.
He also noted that ” his administration should improve his relation with Nigeria and Africa as large as global development and growth need collective efforts of both the developed and developing countries across the globe.”
“There is need Biden to review the Visa policies of Trump’s administration which has restricted some Nigerians benefitting from the American dream. This is a call to his administration to promote global peace and unity. “, he concluded.
