Créme de la créme of the society on Friday converged at the historical city of Ibadan for the burial of Deaconess Comfort Omoladun Fagade, a retired teacher who died on June 13 at the age of 78.
One of his children, Abisoye Fagade is a prominent businessman, Public Relations guru and a gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.
Dignitaries at the event included the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogunguniso; Elegushi of Ikate, Oba Saheed Ademola; Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu 1; Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Muhammed Oloyede Gbadamosi, Okikiola Esuwoye II; Olugbon of Ile Igbon, Oba Francis Olusola Alao, and other traditional rulers and high chiefs across Yorubaland.
Apart from traditional rulers, other socialites and notable personalities who graced the event included Oloye Bayo Adelabu, a retired CBN Deputy Governor and APC gubernatorial candidate in the 2019 election; High Chief Sarafa Alli; Senator Grace Bent; Hon Shina Peller; Hon Akinwale Akinwole, Chairman, AA Luxury, Ogbomoso; Zacch Adelabu Adedeji, Executive Secretary, National Sugar Development Council (NSDC), and Hon Dapo Lam Adesina.
From the movies industry, prominent actors like, Kunle Afolayan, Yomi Fashlanso, Antar Laniyan, Fathia Balogun, Banky Wellington and others also honoured Fagade with their presence.
