A young boy identified as Victor Musa from Zuru, has reportedly been found to have slaughtered himself with a razor blade in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) cell in Kebbi State. He was alone in the cell room.
According to a source who pleaded anonymity, the incident occurred between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The source explained that the authority of the NSCDC learned about the incident after it happened. He added that the deceased was immediately rushed to Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital, Birnin Kebbi, where he was confirmed dead.
Source said that the deceased Victor Musa was brought on Saturday night to the NSCDC office by his relative for safekeeping, where the deceased spent one day in the NSCDC cell before the tragedy.
It was gathered that the deceased was brought because he was involved in drug abuse activities, and before his death, he was a diploma student at Waziru Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi.
