FORMER President Goodluck Jonathan, Bayelsa State governor, Henry Henry Seriake Dickson, and a coalition of leaders from four geo-political zones reiterated the call on the Federal Government to restructure the country before 2019 general election.
They said only restructuring would guarantee the country’s development, unity and peaceful coexistence.
Governor Dickson spoke, on Saturday, in Yenagoa, alongside former President Goodluck Jonathan, Edwin Clark, Ohanaeze President, Nnia Nwodo and Chief Olu Falae, during the South-South Mega Rally with the theme: “Restructuring the Nigerian Federation.”
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Francis Ottah Agbo, Dickson said those championing the cause of restructuring are the patriots and true believers in the Nigerian Project, even as he stressed the need for consensus building to foster better understanding of the issue and convince opponents.
