A rare gem, late Warrant Officer 2, Gabriel Laluyi Esan Taiwo, who died on February 8, 2021, at the age of 84 years, was celebrated glamorously by wives, children, family friends and well-wishers
The farewell service started Friday 7th May 2021 with a commendation service at Methodist Church of Nigeria, Oke-Ado, Ibadan during which the pastor in charge spoke highly of the late Gabriel Taiwo Esan and urged his wives and children to emulate the legacy of their late husband and father and embrace more peace and unity among themselves.
After the church service an army officer paid last respect to the late warrant officer, Esan Taiwo with the celebration train moved from Ibadan to Ilare, in Osun state for the wake keep service and final burial.
On getting to Ilare, the corpse was highly received and celebrated by the people of Ilare community comprising of the village women, hunters among others paid the late Taiwo Esan their last respect.
The wake keep service was attended by the whole community, people within and outside the country.
Speaking at the wake keep service, the priest urges the people at the occasion to prepare for life after death.
