Says They Run To High Places For Cover, Soft Landing

THE sacked and embattled ex-Chairman of Appropriation Committee of House of Representatives, Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin, has blatantly ridiculed the Speaker Yakubu Dogara and other principal officers who had engaged in the budget padding, for running to high places to look for cover and soft landing over their corrupt cases.

Jibrin added that the EFCC and ICPC must arrest Speaker Yakubu Dogara, Deputy Speaker Yusuf Lasun, House Whip Alhassan Doguwa, Minority Leader Leo Ogor and the other members he mentioned in his petition immediately.

However, Jibrin had raised more than 20 allegations on Speaker Dogara.

In another set of allegation he posted on his Facebook account, he asked: “why did you Speaker Yakubu Dogara allow several wasteful procurement of items that are already available in members offices, just to steal money?”

He also allegated Dogara, having connived with Hon Mohammed Bago to organize a scam in the name of investigative hearing on NIMASA, where over 1000 companies were put on notice and invited, saying that it is non-existential for Parliament to invite 1000 companies in the name of investigation. He added that this could happen only under Speaker Dogara’s watch.
