CHAIRMAN, Senate Committee on Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Cybercrime, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, will on Tuesday, 7th March 2017 present a paper on Cybercrime Law in Nigeria.
The Senator, representing Oyo North Senatorial district at the upper chamber of the National Assembly is the guest speaker while Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Fatai Owoseni, is expected as the special guest of honour at the 2017 edition of Law Week of the Faculty of Law of Lead City University, Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to Faculty of Law Student Association’s Public Relations Officer, Comrade Wale Ojo-Lanre, the programm is scheduled to commence 2.00pm at the International Conference Centre of the institution.
Ojo-Lanre also hinted that executive and members of professional association including Nigerian Bar Association (MBA), Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), head of security operatives and other related agencies are expected to grace the event
Other programmes scheduled for the Law Week include: Culture day, Dinner and paper presentation, quizz and debate as well as inter departmental sport competition.
