Faily Releases Late Former Minister, Prof Babalola Borishade’s Obsequies

THE family of the late Prof Babalola Borishade, former Minister of Education has made a release, detailing the ceremonies and events to accompany the final burial of the former Minister in this country.

According to a release signed by Dr Olamide Borishade, the burial ceremonies would commence in Abuja on Tuesday 4th of July and end in Usi–Ekiti on 8th of July 2017.

Dr Borishade disclosed that, on Tuesday 4th July, there would be a day of Tributes at the Sheu Musa Yar’Adua Centre Abuja at 2– 5pm, while Commendation Service will be held at his residence 108, Ebutu Ukiwe Street, Jabi, Abuja from 7–9 pm.

The release revealed that, activities would be shifted to Usi–Ekiti on Thursday 6th of July for the Elegbejegbe, (Age grade) parade at 10am, while a Night of Tribute would hold at St Andrew’s Primary School field on that Thursday from 7pm–11 pm.

The Wake will hold on Friday 7th July at the Federal Science and Technical College , Usi – Ekiti at 7–9pm, and funeral and outing service on Saturday 8th of July 2017 at St Andrew’s Cathedral Anglican Communion, Ekiti Oke Diocese, Usi Ekiti, and interment takes place immediately.
