PEOPLES Democratic Party (PDP) governors are right now meeting in Abuja, at Ekiti Lodge, Asokoro, which is being hosted by Chairman of the forum and Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose.
Present at the time of this report are Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom), Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa), Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta) and Ebitemi Banigo (Deputy Governor, Rivers).
Also present are Minority Leader, House of Representatives, Leo Ogor; former Abia State governor, Senator Theophilus Orji; former ministers, Prof Jerry Gana, Zainab Maina and Inna Ciroma.
Even though it was not immediately clear what the agenda of the meeting is, it is expected to deliberate on the ongoing leadership crisis and the impending Supreme Court judgement on the case between the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led National Caretaker Committee (NCC) and the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Senator Ali Sheriff.
