Nigeria: Lawmaker Calls For Security Summit In South West States


THE lawmaker representing Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency in Oyo state, Hon Temitope Olatoye (Sugar), over the weekend advocated convocation of Southwest Security Summit.

Hon Olatoye made the call in  Ibadan while commenting on the release of the Six kidnapped Igbonla College Students in Ondo State.

The lawmaker pointed out that conveying  Southwest Security Summit where issues about the security of the shall be discussed will go a long way in finding a lasting solution to the insecurity problem especially kidnapping in the region

Honourable Olatoye while emphasizing the importance of security collaboration with the region added that, such security measure would have reduced the number of days these students spent in captivity of the kidnappers.activities within the region.

He however co gratulated Governor Akinwumi  Ambode, and the parents of the Six kidnapped students of Igbonla Model school, Epe, Lagos State.
