ANAMBRA State is prepared to be yoked in irresponsible and irascible fiefdom, owing to an alleged document indicating that an All Progressive Congress (APC) guber candidate, Hon. Tony Nwoye, and his billionaire sponsor, Arthur Eze, have reached an agreement to allow Eze have 10 commissioners and 30 per cent of the state’s internally generated revenue (IGR).
In the leaked document, the two parties agreed to articles of the agreement drafted by an Enugu based lawyer, Godwin Ike Esq. of Ike & Ike Assosiates, due to the level of financial support given to Nwoye by the billionaire.
Practically on assumption of office, Nwoye will allow Eze nominate 10 commissioners, including choice ministries such as Finance; Local Government Chairmen, Attorney General and Chieftancy positions.
Asides this, Nwoye also agreed to allocate, at source, 30 per cent of the Anambra’s IGR to his godfather.
However, attempts to reach Nwoye or his subordinates for his own side of the story as regards the agreement failed. Also, the candidate and his Director-General neither responded to calls placed to them.
