SENATOR Abdulfatai Buhari, Chairman Senate Committee on ICT and Cybercrime, has advised Christians in Nigeria to allow their actions and thoughts be guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ, who preaches love and humility.

Buhari, an APC chieftain representing Oyo North Senatorial District at the upper chamber of the National Assembly in a congratulatory Christmas message urged Nigerian Christians to emulate the life style of Jesus Christ, and be their brothers’ keeper, irrespective of religious and tribal affiliations.
According to him “we have come a long way together and we should continue to tolerate and relate with one others as brothers, and at the same time work together for the advancement and development of our dear country.
“Nigeria as a country needs our unity and contributions to survive the current situation and if we pray and fight against the unwanted situation together we shall win together and enjoy its dividends together.
He however, urged Nigerians not to lose hope on future of Nigeria saying, “We should demonstrate the kind of faith and patience which Jesus Christ demonstrated during his lifetime and believe that all will be well soon.”
While wishing the Christian faithfuls a wonderful Christmas celebration and a prosperous 2018, the Ogbomosho-born Senator however, prayed for good development, peace coexistence and more progress of the nation in the year ahead and beyond.
He also pleaded with Nigerians to be patient with the government of President Muhammad Buhari and the APC that better days are ahead.
