The joy was palpable when the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari received Dame Patience, the former first lady and wife of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in Aso Rock on Monday.
President Buhari’s wife disclosed that she discussed how to increase the participation of women in Nigerian politics.
She added that the issue of girl child education as well as her pet project “women for change”.
Aisha Buhari commended the experience of Dame Jonathan during her tenure and also her perspectives on issues concerning women and children in the country.
