The Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehinare has assured that the Federal Government of Nigeria is not thinking of imposing a travel ban on travellers from any country over the spread of the deadly Coronavirus outbreak.
Dr Ehinare, gave the assurance while discussing with foreign diplomates on Thursday, disclosed that the Nigerian government has put the needed measures in place to contain the spread of the deadly Coronavirus in the country.
He explained that based on the working measures put in place by the Federal Government, there was no instant basis for now to impose a travel ban.
The minister also said the country has not reached the point of banning large gathering.
He said the country is guided by World Health Organisation guidelines
Dr Ehinare then revealed that the country is guided by the World Health Organisation guideline in containing the Coronavirus outbreak.
