Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has relaxed the curfew imposed on the State with effect from Saturday October 24, 2020.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Gboyega Akosile in a tweet disclosed that the curfew which was initially for 24 hours had been relaxed to begin from 6pm to 8am.

The State Government had on Tuesday imposed 24-hour curfew on  following the unrest that trailed the #EndSARS protests in some parts of the State.

Governor Sanwo-Olu had hinted on Thursday that he would relax the curfew to allow Lagosians to get food to eat and put their businesses in order.

Hoodlums had taken advantage of the #EndSARS protests against police brutality and extrajudicial killings to wreak havoc and cause mayhem in the state.
