The ongoing verification exercise of employees of Ministries, Departments and Agencies embarked upon by Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation is a continuous exercise that would subsequently incorporate all non-core Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
The Director, Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) in the OHCSF, Mrs Anne Atta made the clarification while briefing officers delegated for the exercise.
The first phase of the exercise which commenced on Monday, February 15 is expected to end on February 26. She emphasised that the exercise is driven by the need to ensure the credibility of records that would assist the government in planning.
Subsequent exercises which would be done in phases will capture other non-core MDAs in Abuja and 36 states of the Federation.
She informed that similar exercise had been concluded for employees in the Core MDAs in an effort to have credible records of all government employees.
