The Governor Rotimi Akeredolu-led administration over the years has consistently shown and proven itself to be a government for the future; not just in terms of sustainable projects and development but also in the area of youth participation in governance.
This was observed by Pentagon Movement Group (PMG), Ekiti State in a release, signed by the group’s coordinator, Ilesanmi Ade-Ademola, and made available to Reporters At Large on Tuesday.
According to the group “Governor Akeredolu has held on to the belief that Young people are not problems to be solved, but problem solvers themselves. He has shown to all and sundry with his Youth Inclusive administration that today’s young persons are undeniably an integral part of society.
“The recent appointment of Mr Olabode Richard as the Chief Press Secretary is a strong testament of the desire of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN to give more youths the chance to thrive and develop.
“No doubt, we the youths possess boundless energy and enthusiasm, and we offer fresh perspectives on relevant issues. With our unique experiences, viewpoints and vitality, Â young people are capable of making extremely important contributions to society.”
The group lauded the Governor for always believing in the youth and their capacity to always deliver.
“We want to reassure you that we are with you even as you seek to continue to reposition the state for more economic growth and development,” the group assured.
