Dr Olusola Ayandele, a renown businessman and All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji on the fifth anniversary of ascension to the throne of his forebears.
Ayandele had during his visit to the monarch’s Popoyemoja-Ibadan palace on Wednesday, described him as a peace-loving monarch and father.
It would be recalled that Oba Adetunji was installed the 41st Olubadan of Ibadan land on March 4, 2016.
Ayandele said that the Olubadan has always distinguished himself as an harbinger of social justice, peace and progress.
The renown businessman said that Oba. Adetunji has continually preserved the spirit of co-operation, communal living and peaceful co-existence among his subjects.
“Kabiyesi, you have not only ensured peaceful coexistence among your subjects, but contributed immensely to the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State.
“As a custodian of culture and tradition, you have in the last five years, played significant roles in ensuring that the interest of your subjects is taken care of,” he said.
He congratulated the monarch on the occasion, urging him not to relent on his good deeds which has positioned him as a father to all.
“I heartily congratulate Kabiyesi, the Chiefs, High Chiefs and the entire people of Ibadan on this 5th coronation anniversary. I pray that God will continue to give Kabiyesi the grace, wisdom and good health to celebrate many more years on the throne,” he said.
