Nigerian comedienne, Princess Damilola Adekoya, said she would emerge victorious in a sexual assault case she brought up against Olanrewaju James, popularly known as Baba Ijesha.

Princess expressed this optimism via a post on Instagram, saying that she would win.

The post was made a few hours after news broke that a Chief Magistrate, Oluwatoyin Oghre, Monday, granted N500,000 bails to detained Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha for alleged sexual assault.

The comedienne, who stated that she trusts God to grant her victory, accompanied by her post with hashtags on rape and child molestation. “I will win not immediately but definitely,” she posted.

Recall that Reporters At Large reports the embattled Nollywood actor may be released from police custody on Friday, April 30, which may be possible due to the ongoing strike of members of the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN).

The AG also hinted that the suspect would be charged under Section 135, indecent treatment of a child punishable by 7 years imprisonment; Section 137, defilement of a child-, punishable by life imprisonment; Section 261, Sexual Assault by penetration punishable by life imprisonment; Section 262, Attempted Sexual Assault by Penetration, punishable by 14 years imprisonment and Section 263, Sexual Assault punishable by three years imprisonment.
