Omisore Offset N6m Medical Bills Of Over 100 Delinquent Patients At OAUTHC, Presents Gift Packs To 412 Patients

Former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore on Saturday offset N6 million medical bills of over 100 stranded patients and others at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals (OAUTHC), Ile Ife.

Senator Omisore offset the medical bills during his 19th-year hospital visitation to the hospital complex in his Ile Ife country home.

During the visitation, over 100 delinquent patients have their medical bills settled by the former deputy governor of Osun state as well as gift packs to all in patients about 412.

Senator Omisore toured round the various wards in the hospital together with the OAUTHC Chief Medical Director, Professor. Victor Adetiloye, Chief Medical Director, the hospital’s Director of Administration, Barrister Segun Fawole.

While visiting the wards, Senator Omisore presented new year gifts to some of the patients still receiving treatment at the hospital and prayed for their quick recovery.

The OAUTHC Chief Medical Director, Professor Victor Adetiloye while receiving Senator Omisore and his team commended him for his commitment to the welfare of the people as demonstrated with the yearly offsetting of medical bills of delinquent patients at the hospital.

Professor Adetiloye also lauded Senator Omisore for the visit and presentation of gift packs to about 412 patients at the hospital.

Some of the delinquent patients, their relations as well as the patients on admission were full of praises to Senator Omisore calling on other wealth Nigerians to emulate Senator Omisore kind gesture by being their brother’s keeper
