Hon. Usman Muheeden (Olohunwa), Founder of Dele Bajaj Foundation on Sunday splashes multimillion naira empowerment on youths in the Ibarapa area of Oyo State.

At the event tagged “2022 Mega Empowerment Program” items including Deep Freezer, Sewing machines, Hand driers generator and grinding machines were given to beneficiaries

The program which was the 6th edition was held at Baptist Grammar School Ayete, Ibarapa

In his welcome address, Olohunwa as he is fondly called explained that DBF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization established in the years back with the sole aim of uplifting the old and young people of the Ibarapa community through community services, growth and development-oriented activities.

“Having understood that the future of a society lies in the hand of her youths, the Organization kicked started her activities by focusing on widows, the young secondary school leavers of Ibarapa land.”

“We sponsored, groomed and nursed 1000 students for Computer BASED 2021 UTME examination. There was a tutorial to prepare these students and a Mock examination was conducted for them where those who passed excellently were selected across all the local government of Ibarapa land and their Jamb Forms were fully funded. The top scorers in the UTME were selected and are under the mentorship of DBF till date”

“We also brought smiles in the faces of thousands of farmers across all the local governments in Ibarapa by empowering them with seedlings of grains such as rice and maize in sufficient quantities. Financial aid was also provided for the scores of farmers so as to ease their farming processes.

Aside from these, the organization also made people smile during all the various religious festivals as clerics and dignitaries were selected across Ibarapa as Beneficiaries of the Festival support of the organization.

The foundation is among the leading voices of the people when it comes to calling the government of the day to order and providing and suggesting practical solutions to various problems ravaging the land of Ibarapa in general.

There are various testimonies from people who have benefitted from one program of DBF or the other. Seeing people live a good and living above poverty level has always been the vision of the Foundation. And The founder will stop at nothing to ensure this come to fruition.
