Ekiti LCDA Boss, Ogunmilugba Promises To Prioritise Staff Welfare

The Chairman, Ifeloju Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ilupeju Ekiti, Comrade Babatunde Ogunmilugba has solicited the total cooperation and support of the LCDA staff and the five communities that make up the LCDA to attain full-fledge Local Government as he resumes office.

Comrade Ogunmilugba made the plea at the maiden meeting with the staff of Ifeloju LCDA.

The chairman affirmed that he planned to put all necessary machinery in place for a full-fledge Local Government opportunity beckons for an upgrade.

He added that his plan could only be fruitful when all hands were on deck by the LCDA staff and the communities: Ilupeju Ekiti, Itapa Ekiti, Osin Ekiti, Omu and Ijelu Ekiti.

Comrade Ogunmilugba appreciated the financial and material contributions of individuals and the communities since the establishment of Ifeloju LCDA in September 2021.

He then charged all the staff to embark on massive internal revenue generation. He said it was imperative to block revenue leakages for the LCDA to confront numerous challenges facing the council. He added that Ifeloju LCDA would embark on commercial farming to boost its internal revenue .

Consequently, the chairman promised to prioritize the welfare of all staff of the council and promised to help them succeed in their endeavors. He stressed staff importance to his vision. Saying they deserve to be properly taken care foof r excellent performance.

However, the chairman said he would not tolerate truancy, indolence and lateness to work. He stressed, “Punctuality is the sole of business.”

While reacting at the meeting, the Head of Ifeloju LCDA, Ilupeju Ekiti, Engineer Taiwo Oni, pledged the loyalty and readiness of staff to work harmoniously with the new chairman, while on behalf of the staff, he wished the chairman a successful tenure in office.

Earlier, clergymen shered the chairman to the office with prayers.

Among those that visited the council were: Senior Special Assistant to the governor on roads, infrastructure and transportation, Honourable Sunday Adunmo, Hon Yemi Osatuyi representing Oye Constituency 2 in Ekiti State House of Assembly, Former Ekiti State Deputy APC chairman, Chief Mrs Kemisola Olaleye, Vice President Ilupeju Development Association, Pastor Olu Olosunde, Alhaji Rasaq Amusa, former IDA P.R.O and other dignitaries.
