“Olori, please accept my sincerest condolences on the passage to the great beyond of Oba Adeoye. Little did i know that his coming to Ibadan for my wedding ceremony would be the last time we would be seeing each other. Kabiyesi was like a father to me. He was always advising and praying for me. I will no doubt miss him so much. I was outside the country when Kabiyesi died. I pray to Allah to forgive his shortcomings as we are all humans, grant him the best abode in paradise and be with the family he left behind.” He prayed

The Speaker also had a brief meeting with the high chiefs of Igangaland led by Chief Agoro, Pa Salaudeen Kolawole where they informed him that the process of selecting the next Asigangan was on.

The Speaker maintained that with the awarding of Igboora to Iganga to Iwajowa road and the Ido/Eruwa road by Governor Seyi Makinde, Ibarapaland should expect more from this administration before the end of this tenure.

The Obas visited included the Olu of Igboora, Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye (Asoroolu Ayinla 5th), Onidere of Idereland, Oba Kingsley Oyelami Aderoju (Onikola Olufji 2nd), Onilala of Lanlate, Oba Sunday Olusegun Bolawaye, Asawo of Aiyete Oba Emmanuel Ewuola(as in cloth) Okeniyi, Oba Olusanjo Ojo, Baba Aso of Iberekodo-Igbole, Oba Adedamola Badmus (Olu-Aso of Iberekodo), Oba Jinadu Fasasi (Oni Sagaun of Sagaun), Oba Samuel Adewuyi Olaleye (Onidofin of Idofin) and High Chief Mojofola Ajibode who is the Regent of Pako of Pako.
