The Aliiwo family has appreciated the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde over the approval of Senator Dr Mohood Olalekan Isola Balogun as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Aliiwo sons and daughters both at home and abroad further thanked the Olubadan in Council and the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) for their roles in ensuring that the unique and widely respected traditional system of succession to the throne of Ibadanland continues to endure.
The family also expressed their appreciation to Ibadan Indigenes worldwide for the overwhelming support they have given to Senator Balogun.
The statement added that with the support of all and sundry, Ibadan will witness peace , progress and development during the reign of Oba Mohood Olalekan Isola Balogun as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland
