The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Rev. Dr Yakubu Pam has charged the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) to remain the backbone of their husbands.

He made this statement in his office at the NCPC corporate Headquarters on Wednesday when the delegation of the Police Officers Wives Association, Abuja Chapter paid him a courtesy visit.

The Executive Secretary said he was elated with the delegation’s visit because having lost his mother; he knows the value of mothers. He charged the delegation to always support their husbands no matter the challenges they face in their marriage as there is no marriage without challenges.

According to him, “the Police Officers face a lot of challenge in the field as such, they should return home to meet a serene atmosphere”.

He further tasked the Officer’s Wives to support their husbands by sharing in their pains and also taking good care of the family and handling the affairs at the home front when the husbands are out in the field.
