Judge Me By My Records, Not Where I Come From, Says Akpabio

The Lamido Adamawa, His Royal Highness Mohammed Barkindo Aliyu, on Tuesday, received in courtesy, Senator Godswill Akpabio; the All Progressives Congress (APC), Presidential aspirant, in his Palace, describing him as “the next President of Nigeria, Insha Allah”.

The Royal Father, who prayed for Akpabio’s success in the forth coming primaries of the APC noted,” I have carefully listened to your plans for Nigeria, if given the opportunity and I believe you. You have said it all and by chosing to incorporate the traditional institution in your administration as president, the problems we have today would be solved.”

“I believe many traditional rulers in this country would want you to be the next president, so that you implement all those things you did in your state and as a Minister. I pray almighty Allah to help you fulfill your dream and may you succeed in your efforts at becoming the next President of this great country,” he declared.

According to the Lamido, “with all what you have listed in your three point agenda, it is my strong belief that we will enjoy in Nigeria once again, under your Presidency. I will advise that you visit other traditional rulers so that they will understand what you have in stock for the traditional institution under your Presidency.”

Earlier in his speech, the Presidential hopeful, thanked the Lamido for receiving his entourage even at a very short notice.

Addressing Adamawa State delegates, Akpabio said, “Nigeria is on the march again, looking for Mr President, GOA is our Man ooo”. I am the uncommon transformer, who took Akwa Ibom State from a pedestrian state to a destination. My agenda is Nigeria. I decided to step into this race because of my love for the Youths and women of this country.

“I am a tested and trusted Nigerian. I am a Nigerian without boundary. I opened the Government House to all Nigerians. My close aides as governor for eight years were from other parts of this country. I will tackle insecurity with modern technology. The current administration is doing well in this area. country.

In his remarks, former governor of Adamawa State, Senator Bindwo Umaru Jubrila, wished Akpabio success at the primaries.
