Former Ambassador to the Philippines, Dr Yemi Farounbi said past leaders who have ruled Nigeria must go, if the country would record any meaningful progress and development.
He made this statement when he was featured on a political program, “Gbagede Oro” on 101.7 Yes FM, Ibadan, anchored by Seun Awodele’.
Farounbi explained that some past leaders in the saddle of affairs in Nigeria have compromised the development of the country, thereby causing untold hardship to the citizens of Nigeria.
On his part, the southwest zonal chairman of the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON), Deacon Owolabi Oladejo said the constitution must be rewritten and not amended, saying this will help the country grow.
While proffering solutions to the challenges bedevilling Nigeria, Ambassador Farounbi said the constitution must be reworked and organised to achieve an egalitarian society where things work.
