Kayode Joseph Gets Sonde Media Group Top Job

Veteran broadcaster Mr Kayode Joseph has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Yemi Sonde Media Group, which includes Yes 101.7 FM, Ibadan, Yes Media Academy and YES MA Radio (an online radio for the academy).

Mr Joseph who has more than thirty-five years of experience in the broadcast industry was until his appointment, Provost of the Yes Media Academy, the training arm of the Media Group.

Also, Yes 101.7 FM staff members who have been in the organization for the mandatory six months probationary period have had their employment confirmed in accordance with corporate practices, while some freelancers with the organization also got their contracts ratified and offered full employment.

In his remarks, the Managing Director of the Media Group, Mr Yemi Sonde, said Mr Joseph’s appointment is well deserved, considering his rich professional background. He added that harmonization became necessary, as it would enhance operational procedures among the business subunits, especially considering their expansion tendencies.

Mr Sonde also congratulated the staff members whose appointments had been confirmed, reiterating that Yes 101.7 FM would continue to set exemplary standards and follow the path of professionalism, not just in content delivery but also in human resource management.
