It was all fun when the Fuji icon, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, paid a surprise visit to the fast-rising Yes 101.7 FM station.
Getting to the radio station, he hailed its Group Managing Director (GMD), the ace broadcaster and pioneer of good quality broadcasting in Oyo State, NBC/Yemi Sonde, Mr Yemi Sonde.
Pasuma, while speaking on a live programme on Yes 101.7 FM with Yemi Sonde, said, “I am not surprised to see this because the brain behind all these achievements, Yemi Sonde, has laboured for, and this is just 10 per cent of what God wants to do in your life. And I prayed to Him to give you long life to see the remaining 90 per cent of what He has put on the ground.”
Pasuma then urged all his fans in Oyo State to join him in celebrating his 55th birthday, citing God’s grace as the source of his sustenance.
“Oganla” thanked all his fans for the love and acceptance he received in the state and promised not to disappoint them.
The birthday celebration kicks off today, Thursday, November 24th, 2022, with Yes 101.7 FM Celebrate Icons unveiling. At noon, it will be followed by a superlative event at the prestigious Mauve 21, Ring Road, Ibadan.
