2023: Makinde Unveils Wolekanle’s Campaign Office In Ogbomoso

On Thursday, Oyo State Governor Engr Oluseyi Makinde unveils the campaign office of Akinwale Akinwole, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial Candidate in Oyo North in Ogbomoso.

The campaign office, which is named the Wole-Seyi Campaign Office, is located at Yaku Road, beside the old NITEL office Takie Ogbomoso.

Governor Makinde was in Ogbomoso for a town hall meeting with the residents and a consultative meeting with the party stakeholders.

While commissioning the campaign office, Governor Makinde expressed optimism that the PDP will win 100 percent of the vote in the coming election.

“By the special grace of God, Hon Wolekanle will win the Senate seat in Oyo North, Hon. Olufemi Onireti will win the House of Reps, and all House of Assembly candidates will win their election.”.

After the commissioning, the governor and his entourage took a facility tour. The facility comprises a function hall, offices, and an open field for future use.

Hon Akinwale, while speaking with journalists after the commissioning, appreciated the governor for deeming it fit to honour the invitation to unveil the projects; his response shows he is a caring and responsible leader.

“He said the idea to have a campaign office started early this year, and so far, he has been able to put up a structure that will not only be useful for his campaign but for other PDP strategic meetings.

“I can assure you that the people of Ogbomoso are happy and will vote for Governor Seyi Makinde again and all the party candidates in the forthcoming election.

Other dignitaries at the commissioning include the Deputy Governor, Barr Bayo Lawal, Chief of Staff to the Governor Hon Segun Ogunwuyi, Senator Monsurat Sumonu, Amb. Taofeek Arapaja, National Deputy Chairman PDP, Chief Bisi Ilaka, PDP Senatorial candidate in Oyo Central, Senator Gbenga Babalola, Hon Dayo Ogungbenro PDP state chairman, Hon Wasiu Adeleke, PDP state secretary, Commissioners party leaders, members of the Governorship campaign Council and others.
