Political icons, the elite of society, business stakeholders, influential figures in the entertainment industry, royal fathers, and a host of others crowded all roads leading to Sagamu in Ogun State to celebrate with Chief Peter Oluwole Ogunbayo, the owner of AMBA Properties Limited. He was installed as Baba Ewe of Emmanuel Anglican Church, Sabo, Sagamu. He also dedicated his ultra-modern, multimillion-naira edifice at GRA Road, Sagamu, Ogun State.

The event was kickstarted by the Vicar of the church, Ven. G.K . O Omolehinju, at 11am while the Bishop of Remo Diocese, Most Rev. (Dr.) M Olusina Fape endorsed the church program and the Bible lesson read by Ven. Adeleye.

The People’s Warden, Mr Yinka Sodimu, and Rev. Fape then performed the installation ceremony of Chief Peter Oluwole Ogunbayo as Baba Ewe of Emmanuel Anglican Church, Sabo, Sagamu.

The Bishop of the Diocese of Remo, Most Rev. (Dr.) Olusina Fape, delivered his sermon and lauded all the guests, such as royal fathers, the Ogunbayo families, and well-wishers, who came to honour the new Baba Ewe of the church and wished them journey mercy back to their various destinations.

However, he charged the newly installed Baba Ewe to continue the good work he had started and urged him to give God all he had.

Thereafter, fundraising was conducted to complete the Cathedral of the Emmanuel Anglican Church, and all the guests who came to honour the celebrant, Chief Wole Ogunbayo, donated generously.

This was followed by the performance of the youth (Ewe) of the church, after which Bishop Olusina Fape blessed the rallies donated in memory of Pa. Samuel Ogunbayo by the children and thanksgiving by the Ogunbayo Family.

Thereafter, they all went to commission the multimillion naira edifice at 7 Osilaru Street, behind Odis Filling Station, which was performed by Most. Rev. Dr. Olusina Fape while the reception started properly with an opening prayer said by Ven. Omolehinju and remarks by the Chairman of the occasion, Olotu Omooba Micheal Oyedele.

Children, families, and friends lauded Chief Wole Ogunbayo as a gentle, easygoing man who fears God. They said this was just the beginning of great things in his life and prayed to God to give him a long life.

Oba Kayode Adenekan Afolabi and his wife, Olori Janet Afolabi, were the Alapomu of Apomu who coordinated the cake-cutting.

Dignitaries present at the occasion also showered encomiums on the ever-reliable events and catering guru Eunice Olaseeke Adeoye for a job well done; she was the caterer for the event.

According to the dignitaries, the good services, branding, and prompt attention to guests were superb. Ripples’s sophisticated staff and the suitable, delicious food beautified the event.

The event was hosted by the publisher, City People Magazine, Seye Kehinde, and MC Adaptor, while the Faith Band and Tolu Obey provided the music.

It was also covered by Apreel1 Events TV, City People Magazine/TV, and Biscon TV, owned by Bisi Olatilo of the popular Bisi Olatilo Show.
