Hon. Sunday Adeleke, popularly known as Sunggav, has sent a congratulatory message to the former chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr Nureni Aderemi Adeniran as a worthy leader worthy of emulation as his humanitarian adventures remain first-class rated.
Adeleke disclosed this in an open letter titled, “My Political Leader: You are a Worthy Leader”, celebrating the giant strides of the celebrant across his areas of engagements as a leader, educationist, public servant, administrator and politician.
The letter reads in part, “The immeasurable contributions of this noble leader, Dr Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, to my personal growth and development, remains the formidable pillars of my existence and testimonies of success and hope. Without the need for hero-worshipping, you are a worthy leader as you taught me the essence of time management, good intentions, moral foundations and sincere consistency as the tools of success.
“On the political fronts, your achievements remain unbeatable as history bears witness to your landmark achievements, especially in the educational sector of the then Ibadan South West area of Ibadan before you emerge as the SUBEB boss. Sir, you don’t mind taking to the board and teaching students or pupils of any public schools you visited, mostly without notice”.
The letter equally notes, “Your attitude towards education remains a personal attitude I consciously emulated if truly I want to serve humanity. You have never left the classroom, it is either as a teacher or student. Why is knowledge insatiable? I’ve promised never to reveal the answer you gave when I asked but act it. I am still a student but now it is at Lead City University, Ibadan Campus.
“You are a blessing to humanity, an advantage to the legal world, evidence of hope to the African education. Your birth remains a blessing, not just for yourself or your family but to the entire human race. I hope God almighty should grant you more years for the sake of the unborn generation in good health and prosperity.”
