And the church muted! On August 9, Sr. Prophetess and Apostolic Mother Felicia Adesimi Oke was laid to rest at her Lagos Felicia Street Olowoora residence. After a brief illness, she slept on July 9, 2023, at 87, to wake at the resurrection of the saints.
“When the roll is called up yonder, will you be there? What are you holding tight all alone? Will you see Jesus before death? Baba Aladura Adalumo emphasized, “When death knocks, no one will have control over earthly possessions any longer! Every living will surrender with no struggles.”
He noted that both the Quran and the Bible emphasise the great judgement day!
He said, “The Late Apostolic Mother Felicia came, she saw, and she conquered.”
Baba Aladura urged Christian Faithfuls to be more Committed, worldly possessions will be left behind, he further admonished with scriptures in Ephesians 5 and 14,1-9, Romans 8 v 35 and 36, Psalm 90 v 1-end.
Primate, Olori Ijo Agbara Iwosan Jehovah Jireh, Dare Olabiwonninu with Prophet Sunkanmi Olaide, where the deceased attended before her demise, described her as God-fearing who had a positive impact on the church of God.
The deceased’s second son and the last born, in an interview with our correspondence stressed their late Mum’s efforts on children, and how she managed all fears and frightening.
According to Engr Talabi Oke, Mama fulfilled the promise she made to her late mum as well “I will bring all my siblings closer to me when I’m married. This, she eventually accomplished till her last breath on earth.”
The deceased’s last born said Mama’s death was a severe blow to the mind and spirit.
Meanwhile, Engr. Rotimi Jegede who lived with Mama right from two years old, said “drawing upon her years of support, with literacy and vocational skills, described the late as, an industrious and caring mother.
The deceased’s children, grand and great-grandchildren, in-laws, relatives, co-landlords, friends and family, also thanked God for the good legacies she left behind, her children – Mrs Remi Sangaolu, Mother Celestial Moji Abiona, Engr. Tunde Oke, Mrs Funmilayo Ademilua, Mrs Kemi Olaleye and Special Ap. Prof. Agbani. Her grandchildren are Ife Oluwa Adeniyi Oke, Mrs Janet Jegede, Mr Nuru, and Sadeeq Sanyaolu, Opeyemi Adeyemi. Also left behind are Temitope Sanyaolu (daughter-in-law) and Mrs Iyabode Abati (daughter and co-landlady).
Among the guests at the event were ministers of God from the Holy Ghost Royal House of Restoration, The City of Enakhore, founded by a man who has toured through world Nations, the Supreme Archbishop Emmanuel Ojo Powerson, ably represented by Pastor Kenny Olojede, Rev. White Adedayo, Pastor Grace Mfon (mother of Ifeoluwa Oke Adeniyi), and Pastor Kayode Dunmoye, who raised supplications both for Unity to dwell, and God’s protection on the Children, the church of God, and the Family at large, while the 1st prayer was led by Ven. Sup. Ev. Dr A.O Aken, followed by Apostolic Mother Bunmi Olaleye for the second prayer at the wake keep.
