Joy, celebration, and appreciation for God’s abundant favour and grace were palpable at the annual thanksgiving of the Success Gate Good Women Group of the C&S Success Gate, headed by His Grace, Primate Ade Ademilokun Turton Onibode, with the Pastor in charge, Most Senior Rev. Apostle Olakunle Olaseni, recently.
A series of C&S songs by the angelic church choir electrified the atmosphere with the spirit of God and coloured the historic celebration.
The Chairperson of the group, a retired head teacher whose gestures speak of wealth and years of teaching experience, the Most Senior Mother in Israel, Mrs Seyi Akinmade, the group’s Secretary, Mrs Susan Fagbemisoye, and other members of the group expressed in a media interview their enthusiasm and gratitude for God’s faithfulness in their lives, children, and spouses.
Success Gate Good Women Group members expressly disclosed that “despite challenges, no one is missing, no records of death among us; we thank God for the gift of life and God’s grace over us and our households.”
The group’s chairperson, in her address, advised women to persevere, whatever the current national economic challenges might look like and the ripple effects of high prices on essential livelihoods, assuring them that “by the grace of God it shall be well; this phase will soon be over”.
Mrs Akinmade also encouraged the women to be there for their spouses and children at all costs.
