Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, will receive the Leadership Governor of the Year 2023 Award on Tuesday.
Makinde had earlier been selected by the Leadership Newspaper as the recipient of its prestigious Governor of the Year Award on account of the massive infrastructure development projects and good governance in Oyo State, under his watch.
During a visit by its management, the newspaper praised Governor Makinde for Oyo State’s significant economic growth and other outstanding achievements in various sectors.
The governor, who maintained that the award would spur his administration to do more for Oyo State, will personally pick up the award at a ceremony billed to take place at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, by 10 a.m.
