Olubadan-designate Oba Owolabi Olakulehin arrived in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, to meet with the kingmakers, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Rasidi Ladoja has confirmed.

TribuneOnline reports High Chief Ladoja saying in a telephone conversation that “Baba ti de” means Baba is around.

This was just as the Olubadan Advisory Council confirmed the health status of the Olubadan-designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, as they submitted that he is fit to be crowned as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The non-public appearance of Oba Olakulehin since the demise of Late Oba Sen. Lekan Balogun twenty-one days ago has generated heated arguments among the stakeholders, including the stakeholders.

REPORTERS AT LARGE recalls that the kingmakers, in an interview, said his nomination cannot be made in absentia.
