Immediate past Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun’s family, Aliiwo has felicitated with new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Iyanda Owolabi Olakulehin( Ige Olakulehin 1) on his coronation as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a statement in Ibadan by a UK-based solicitor, Prince Kamal Giwa, on behalf of the Aliiwo Royal family, they expressed their warm congratulation to the new monarch and wished him a long and peaceful reign.

Prince Giwa stated that the new imperial majesty would continue the growth and development initiatives begun by his predecessor, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun.

While assuring the new Olubadan of the Aliiwo family’s support, the statement noted that with a rich history of producing two Olubadans, they will always be ready to contribute to the progress of the ancient city..

Giwa, however, commended the new monarch’s historic visit to the Aliiwo family following the passage of Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun, calling it a positive omen for the development of Ibadanland.
