Ijo Mimo Ibukun Orisun Iye, Olaiya Street, Tipper Garage, Ibadan, celebrated its 36th annual anniversary on Sunday, December 8. During this event, branches, home and abroad, came together to thank God for His care from last year until now.
Leader Dayo Olagundoye initiated the celebration at 10 a.m. Mama Ijo, Prophetess Taye Alalade, read the only lesson for the anniversary. Following this, Prophet Oguntunwase, The Founder, Ijo Mimo Ibukun Orisun Iye, Mama Mary Osunla, and Baba Ijo Ibukun Orisun Iye, Special Apostle Akinola, said a three-person prayer.
The choir leaders, Ijo Ibukun Orisun Oye, Evangelists Abiodun Olaniyi, and Mary Akinfolarin, then rendered special praises.
Prophetess Dayo Fajutu then led the prayer section.
However, as the event progressed, Alagba Fajutu came to the podium to invite the dignitaries to the high seats, followed by Baba Aladura’s ushering in, Superintendent Apostle (Dr.) Issac Adeopa.
The guests cheered as the choir and church brigades performed special songs.
Special Apostle Alfred Olanrewaju Ale, while delivering the sermon, asked the brethren, “Do you give thanks to God?” He urged all the people present at the anniversary to always give thanks to God, whether it is convenient or not.
During an interview with REPORTERS AT LARGE, church members and dignitaries present at the occasion thanked God for the grace and opportunity to attend this year’s anniversary and prayed for Mama Mary Osunla, the church’s founder, to live long.
Among those present at the anniversary are the gospel music legend Evangelist (Dr.) Mrs. Funmi Aragbaiye, Superintendent Apostle (Dr.) Issac Adeopa, and a host of others.
