Hon. Olaminuwonlo Ayodeji Alao Akala, a lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire Federal Constituency, has provided free JAMB forms to over 300 students across Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, and Oriire Federal Constituency. The move supports education and empowers young minds.
The initiative, carried out under the Ojuoloore Educational Support Fund, aims to remove financial barriers hindering students’ education.
According to the All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain, also chairman of the House of Representatives committee on Youths in Parliament, access to quality education is a fundamental right and a key driver of personal and national development.
This marks the initiative’s second phase, reinforcing Akala’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and providing opportunities for students in the region.
The gesture has been widely commended, with beneficiaries and parents expressing gratitude for the financial relief and opportunity to participate in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The Ojuoloore Educational Support Fund is part of Akala’s broader vision to invest in the future of Nigerian youth through education, mentorship, and capacity-building programs.
