The entertainment industry is in shock as news spreads of the untimely death of popular skitmaker, AbdulSamad Adetola, widely known as Sanku Comedy. The talented comedian met his demise in a lone auto crash along the Oyo-Ogbomoso Expressway on Monday.
According to eyewitnesses, Sanku Comedy’s Lexus car, which he had recently purchased in June, veered off the road, somersaulted several times, and plunged into a ditch at Oolo area. Despite efforts by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Oolo Unit to rush him to the hospital, Sanku was pronounced dead on arrival at Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso.
The news of his passing was initially withheld to avoid exacerbating the condition of other survivors who are critically injured. Fellow content creator Oloba Salo confirmed the development, revealing that Sanku’s body has been deposited at the morgue of Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso.
Other victims of the accident, including fellow skitmaker Wakili, are currently receiving treatment at Bowen University Teaching Hospital. The circumstances surrounding the accident are still under investigation, and the police are working to reach out to Sanku’s family.
