Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of Ayomikun, the only son of veteran Yoruba actress Peju Ogunmola.
According to reliable sources, the heartbreaking incident occurred on Monday while the 56-year-old actress was at a movie location.
Colleagues on set reportedly informed her that one of the actors had been rushed to the hospital. However, on getting there, Ogunmola was devastated to discover that it was her own son who had passed away.
The tragic news comes only months after Shina was celebrated for completing his compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program. This milestone had filled his mother with pride and joy.
Ogunmola, a well-respected figure in the Yoruba movie industry, is recognised not only for her acting prowess but also for her significant contributions to the growth of Nollywood.
The sudden loss of her son has left colleagues, friends, and fans in deep shock.
