The Nigerian Army has announced a recruitment exercise for its 90th Regular Recruits Intake (RRI), inviting applications from qualified men and women across Nigeria.

A public service announcement highlights the specific application process and requirements for prospective recruits from the state.

The online application portal, accessible at https://recruitment.army.mil.ng, opened on September 29, 2025, and will remain open until November 14, 2025. Applications are free of charge. The recruitment covers both trade/non-trade roles and is open to both male and female candidates.

Following the online application process, qualified candidates will be shortlisted and invited to participate in a physical screening exercise. This screening will be conducted at the State Recruitment Centre, located at Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Ojoo, Odogbo, Ibadan.

According to Professor Olanike Adeyemo, Secretary to the Oyo State Government, a key requirement for Oyo State indigenes applying is the Oyo State Indigeneship Certificate. Interested candidates are urged to obtain this certificate from Room 53 at the Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan, or from the state’s liaison offices in Abuja and Lagos. This certificate serves as proof of bona fide Oyo State origin.

The PSA aims to ensure that potential candidates are aware of the opportunity and can apply within the designated timeframe.
