The Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Bashorun Akinwale Solomon Akinwole, has said the positive transformation being witnessed at the commission is driven by Governor Seyi Makinde’s agenda on staff welfare, timely promotion and improved service delivery across the local government system.

Wolekanle as he is foundly called described the recent increase in pension funds approved by Governor Makinde, alongside the regular monthly payment of gratuities and other emoluments to retired civil servants, as commendable and worthy of emulation by other state governors.

Bashorun Akinwale stated this while hosting the management and staff of the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board (LGSPB), led by its Chairman, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, during a courtesy visit to the commission.

He also appreciated the governor for his prompt response to requests and the timely release of promotion approvals and funds.

During the visit, the duo of Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige and Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole pledged to continue collaborating and building a more harmonious working relationship between the Local Government Staff Pension Board and the Local Government Service Commission to further improve service delivery.
