The Board, Management and Staff of Industrial and General Insurance (IGI) Plc has announced the passing of a respected member of the company’s Board and immediate past President of the Cooperative Federation of Nigeria (CFN), High Chief Tajudeen Oriyomi Ayeola.
A statement by IGI Plc, on Monday, said High Chief Ayeola was a pillar of strength to the organisation whose contributions to the growth, stability, and strategic direction of IGI Plc were both profound and enduring.
The statement added that “his guidance, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to excellence played a significant role in shaping the company’s journey, and his counsel will be greatly missed.”
IGI Plc added: “Beyond his service to IGI Plc, High Chief Ayeola was widely respected for his leadership within the cooperative movement in Nigeria. As the immediate past president of the Cooperative Federation of Nigeria, he made remarkable contributions to advancing cooperative development and strengthening institutional frameworks across the sector.
“His passing represents a significant loss, not only to IGI Plc but also to the wider business and cooperative community. We take comfort in the impactful life he lived and the legacy of leadership, service, and integrity he leaves behind.
