FORMER Vice President and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has depicted the demise of veteran columnist, dramatist, author and scholarly Onukaba Ojo as stunning and agonizing amazing.
In a statement made available to news men in Abuja on Monday, Atiku, who has known Ojo for about three decades, depicted his previous representative as a crucial resource, who was faithful and dependable until the most recent day.
As indicated by Atiku, “Onukaba was at my home just on Friday; he went by me just before going out of Abuja. I had no clue that it was the last time I could ever set eyes on him.”
He reviewed Ojo’s association with him in the course of recent decades, as a writer covering aeronautics; as the man who penned his mainstream life story; as the man who was a vital individual from his media group; as the man who turned into his political protégé; and as the man who strikingly talked reality to him generally.
“Ojo had little sympathy toward material things, he was an immaculate scholarly, spurred just by a yearning to give the best that his brains brought to the table”, he expressed
The previous Vice President included that a whole book of thousands of pages would be required if he somehow managed to state everything that he considered his long-term companion, now gone until the end of time.
“May God concede his family specifically his kids the elegance they have to experience this hardest of times,” he said.
