The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, Hon Adedeji Olajide Odidiomo, has congratulated the newly-appointed political aides to Governor Seyi Makinde.
Reacting to the strategic executive reshuffle, Odidiomo commended the Governor’s choices, noting that the new inductees possess the administrative experience required to drive governance forward across key sectors.
Among the appointees is the Director General of the Odidiomo Campaign Organisation, Prince Seun Adelore, who takes up his role as Senior Special Assistant on Chieftaincy Matters. Odidiomo described the appointment—and others like it—as a crucial opportunity for dedicated public servants to bring their competence and hands-on experience to bear in service of the state.
Strategic Additions to the Oyo State Elders Council
In a statement made available to REPORTERS AT LARGE by his Media Aide, Tolu Mustapha, Hon Adedeji Olajide Odidiomo also congratulated Pastor Akin Alamu on his elevation to the Oyo State Elders Council. Alamu previously served as the Chairman of the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and was a respected member of the Oyo State Advisory Council.
Odidiomo noted that advisory bodies require tested administrators who understand the political and administrative landscape of Oyo State, making Alamu’s transition to the Elders’ Council a well-considered decision by the executive leadership.

According to the governor’s statement, the appointments take immediate effect, with the new appointees charged to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, commitment and loyalty to the people and government of Oyo State.
Call to Public Service Amid Governor Makinde’s Drive
Odidiomo, in the statement, urged the newly appointed officials to see their respective positions as a call to greater public service, noting that their appointments come with responsibilities to contribute meaningfully to the development and administration of Oyo State.
He also commended Governor Makinde for what he described as continued recognition of individuals with experience in different sectors of public life, while wishing the appointees success in their new assignments.
