Against the report on some online news platforms (not REPORTERS AT LARGE), the Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho, has been not been arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).
According to the report about the arrest of Sunday Igboho, he was arrested on Friday afternoon at Guru Maharajji village on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The report added that he has been moved to an unknown location.
However, an impeccable source has debunked the claim, saying “Sunday Igboho was not arrested by DSS.”
REPORTERS AT LARGE earlier reported Sunday Igboho as saying that the weapons found in the house were planted by security operatives who invaded his house in the early hours of Wednesday to frame him.
This was as he declared as untrue the report that he stockpiled arms and ammunition in the house to cause crisis in some parts of the country, as alleged by men of the Department of State Security (DSS) who have since admitted invading his house.
Igboho made this known in a statement by his media aide, Olayomi Koiki, tagged “My Persecution By Buhari Regime: Setting The Records Straight”.
